As a Manufacturing Test Engineer (MTE), the selected candidate will support manufacturing testing/functional checkout during the build process for a T1 build and ramp-to-rate on a franchise program within ADP. 
• Interact with the aircraft across multiple sub-systems throughout assembly.
• Responsible for testing of all systems and sub-systems on the aircraft.
• Responsible for developing new test equipment as testing requirements are updated, as well as documenting complex test procedures for use by non-technical co-workers when writing procedures.
• Support the MTE Project team with the project management of test equipment and Support Equipment.

 

Standard Job Description:

Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline
  • On-aircraft experience in testing, operational checkout, and troubleshooting aircraft avionics and air vehicle systems
  • Experience developing manufacturing test plans (i.e. identifying manufacturing test equipment requirements, etc)
  • Technical authoring experience
  • Ability to obtain & maintain Secret Clearance per business requirements 

Desired Skills

  • Product Lifecycle Manager (PLM) experience (e.g. 3DX, Teamcenter, PDM, etc.).
  • Manufacturing Execution System (MES) experience 
  • Experience with Inter-departmental communication, both written and verbal, is required as this position requires extensive interface with peers, customers, associate contractors, management, and touch labor across varied disciplines on a daily basis.
  • Previous experience with engineering releases and configuration change control
  • Production/build execution support experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams (e.g. Engineering, Quality, Production Control, Supply Chain)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
