You will be a Technical Trainer, delivering hands on, instructor led training to manufacturing personnel supporting the Archbald, PA facility. Our team specializes in designing, manufacturing, and engineering electronic assemblies, machined and welded assemblies/parts, and safety-critical systems for various defense and commercial applications.



What You Will Be Doing

 

As a Technical Trainer, your responsibilities will include:

- Develop, update, and deliver lesson plans, training manuals, and hands‑on demonstration modules for electrical, mechanical, and micro‑electronics assembly processes.
- Conduct classroom and shop‑floor training sessions, ensuring clarity, engagement, and adherence to safety standards.
- Administer assessments, track learner performance, and generate progress reports for leadership.
- Identify skill gaps and collaborate with subject‑matter experts to mitigate deficiencies.
- Prepare and maintain training equipment, tools, and materials, ensuring readiness of facilities.
* Maintains instructor certification ensuring site meets customer contract requirements.
- Manage training schedules in coordination with production leadership and the learning management system (LMS).
• Keep training documentation current by managing training assignments and records for all Archbald employees
- Provide feedback on curriculum effectiveness; suggest enhancements based on trainee performance and production feedback.
- Participate in internal audits, change‑control activities, and quality‑system tasks as required.
- Partner with engineering, quality, and production teams to align training with current product specifications and regulatory requirements.

Note: This is a 1st shift position in Archbald, PA. As our operations expand, we anticipate implementing alternate shifts and work location(s). Applicants must be willing to support occasional training activities on off shift schedules and/or at other local facilities.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Experience delivering hands‑on technical training in a manufacturing environment.

* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders including employees, management, and customers

* Willingness to expand training knowledge to content applicable to all areas of Archbald Operations

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications.

* Must be able to obtain a Secret DoD security clearance (clearance not required before start).

* Familiarity with computer‑based scheduling or LMS tools.

Desired Skills

* Experience with demonstration/performance teaching methods.
* Strong presentation and student‑engagement skills.
* Certified in JStd-001, IPC 600, IPC 610, and/or IPC 620.
* Familiarity with governmental regulations, industrial specifications, and quality‑management system principles (AS9100, IPC‑610, etc.).
* Familiarity with Atlas Learning
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.

* Excellent organizational, time‑management, and multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and

Full-Time Salary Range: $53900.00 - $100100.00
