Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Associate Manager to support the THAAD organization on our KSA Localization and Production Contract. This critical program directly supports FMS Contracts and expanding the manufacturing footprint for the THAAD Program overseas. As the Associate Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the production ramp‑rate and stand‑alone depot stand‑up activities, ensuring seamless integration across LM sites and subcontractors. 

 

What You Will Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate internal and external inspections, testing, and tooling sell‑off.
  • Manage ramp‑rate risk, opportunity creation, and mitigation.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics and clear communications with senior leadership.
  • Support Depot Activitation, OCONUS Manufacturing sites, and related integration efforts.
  • Drive cross‑functional collaboration to meet schedule and quality targets.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance
  • Ability to travel, as required
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM related field
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience managing quality inspectors, manufacturing teams, or missile maintenance personnel
  • Proven track record of fostering a collaborative, proactive, and accountability-focused quality culture
  • Demonstrated capability to utilize data and established KPIs to manage priorities, make sound technical decisions, and provide clear operational guidance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for data analysis, visual reporting, and executive briefings

Desired Skills

  • Direct quality oversight experience on air defense/aerospace platforms; Experience with Depot Activation is a plus
  • Direct working experience interfacing with DCMA personnel and government Quality Assurance Specialists (QAS/QAR)
  • In-depth knowledge and auditing experience with AS9110 (MRO), AS9100, and ISO 9001 quality management systems
  • Demonstrated experience managing non-conforming materials, Material Review Board (MRB) dispositions, and root cause investigations
  • Practical experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and structured continuous improvement initiatives
  • Proven experience leading a Corrective Action Board (CAB) and driving cross-functional resolution of critical systemic defect and compliance issues
  • Working knowledge of Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts and OCONUS Depot facility operations
  • Experience with Production and Quality modules in SAP S4 HANA and MES Apriso
  • Proficiency in BOE (Basis of Estimate), estimating, budgeting, and earned value management (EVM)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
