You will be the Project Management & Planning Operations Mgr for the Missiles and Fire Control Global Supply Chain Risk & Enterprise Data Team. Our team is responsible for providing forward‑looking data analytics solutions and proactive risk identification and mitigation resources to support long‑term supply‑chain strategy and optimized financial return for Lockheed Martin.

 

What You Will Be Doing
As the Project Management & Planning Operations Mgr you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of ongoing projects and interfacing between program and functional groups.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the strategy, planning, and execution of supplier‑performance review meetings.
  • Design and implement an enterprise‑wide risk and opportunity management framework.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, analytics, data‑science teams, and Central Procurement Engineering to align risk‑management initiatives with business goals.
  • Drive continuous‑improvement efforts and evolve standard operating procedures.
  • Oversee project status, budgets, schedules, and reporting to ensure productivity, quality, and client‑satisfaction targets are met.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
  • Strong leadership & Strategic thinking skills
  • Knowledge of DoD Industry
  • Risk & Opportunity Management experience
  • Experience working with high level metrics / data analytics to measure functional performance & drive data informed targeted improvements & business decisions
  • Proven ability to plan, organize and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced & complex environment
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams & digital platforms
  • Strong interpersonal & relationship management skills across diverse levels, functions & personalities
  • Excellent & professional communication skills (verbal / written / presentation)
  • Business acumen & ability to make data informed decisions

Desired Skills

  • Ability to quickly learn, adopt & train others on new technology
  • Change Management Awareness
  • Supply Chain experience in subcontract management, component & associated complex assemblies, & equipment purchases within Defense or Aerospace industries & Supply Chain Management systems
  • Intermediate to thorough knowledge of DoD acquisition policies & requirements for FAR / DFAR based contracts working for a DOD prime contractor or sub tier supplier
  • Familiarity with acquisition policies & procedures such as Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)
  • Cross-functional knowledge including Engineering, Supplier Quality, Production Operations & Finance as they relate to Supply Chain
  • Lean Six sigma green belt trained & certification (or similar) OR Project Management trained & certification

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
