This position will support Corporate flight department maintenance operations and report to the Aircraft Maintenance Manager.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

• Fuel aircraft.

• Marshalling arriving and departing aircraft.

• Ensure aircraft are chocked and secure.

• Aircraft lavatory and potable water servicing.

• Aircraft towing operations.

• Fueling Operations: Filling refueler and fuel farm tasks as required.

• Operate ground support equipment in support of ramp operations. 

• Aircraft interior cleaning, stocking and exterior cleaning. 

 

 

Performs  non-technical aircraft details, including aircraft arrival and departure support, recovery, refueling, towing, servicing lavatory, water, international trash collection and processing as required. The airport area is in a high noise environment, so use of proper protection equipment is required. Operating vehicles, towing and marshalling aircraft in proximity of people, equipment, hangars, and other aircraft requires extreme caution. Procedures must be followed to ensure your personal safety to include the safety of others and protection of company and customer property. 

May train other aviation personnel, perform ground support equipment inspections, and assist aircraft maintenance technicians with non-technical efforts as assigned. Working in unison with the maintenance team, this line service position will be assigned to the flex 40 shift, and support all work shifts as required to include weekend aircraft line service support. 

The Line Service Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all company aircraft and the hangar floor area are maintained to a high level of cleanliness and readiness, with an emphasis on maintaining a safe working environment. Impact of work significant to assigned area and to customer/passenger relations.  

Support additional duties as assigned by the Aircraft Maintenance Manager.

Basic Qualifications

Valid Driver’s License with ability to obtain Maryland CDL.

High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education. 

Line Service Technicians require the following: good decisionmaking skills, the ability to follow company/department policy and procedures; flexibility in a dynamic working environment; as well as possessing good interpersonal skills.  

Desired Skills

Flight Safety International – Aircraft Line Servicing Technician Course.

Corporate/Business Aviation aircraft experience.

NATA - Aircraft Ground Servicing and Handling Training

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $42700.00 - $79300.00
