The Opportunity

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Training Logistics and Simulation (TLS) line of business, headquartered in Orlando, FL, USA, is a global industry provider of training and sustainment products and services.

The business is focused on 21st Century Security for our customers and partners, in line with our OneLM Culture delivered under our 1LMX Transformation program.

 

Reporting through to the Vice President of Air and Commercial Solutions, the Program Management Director is accountable for the performance, transformation and growth of our Global Training Services mission area which operates across multiple international customers and locations. The role is accountable for all aspects of the business, including safety, quality, customer relations, people and talent management, program performance and all associated financial resources and results.

This role is ideally based in Canberra, however due to the high volume of both domestic and international travel required, other locations where LMA have a presence will be considered.   

Key Responsibilities

You will offer significant knowledge and experience in managing a portfolio of domestic and international large-scale complex development, production and sustainment programs and are a recognizable leader in the aerospace and defense sector.

You have demonstrated full spectrum leadership skills and experience leading diverse, multi-national, distributed and virtual teams and proven capability in building effective customer and supplier relationships. You are a strategic leader with proven experience developing and executing growth strategies.

What you'll bring

You will have experience with US Foreign Military Sales and Australian Government Contracting. Familiarity with US Government Export Controls and prior experience working for and/or with US Prime Contractors is desirable.
