Candidate will provide analytical support for group responsible for Lockheed Martin’s Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

- Provide detailed financial models on prospective Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) targets

- Conduct research and analysis in support of the initial screening and qualification of M&A candidates

- Support M&A transaction as needed including assisting with due diligence activity

- Develop reports, analysis, and presentations on both the Corporation's M&A activity as well as on M&A activity within the Aerospace / Defense industry

Candidate for this position should be able to work both independently and in team situations. Candidate should also be a highly motivated self-starter who is seeking a learning and growth opportunity to broaden his/her strategic and financial skill set

Basic Qualifications

Strong familiarity with financial concepts (including accounting and valuation) obtained either through education or work experience. 

Proficiency in key Microsoft Office applications including Powerpoint, Excel, and Word

Experience using spreadsheets to perform financial analysis

Presentation skillset to senior internal and external stakeholders. Ability to coordinate across businesses and functions.

Desired Skills

2-4 years of related work experience

MBA level or other advanced financial coursework helpful 

Familiarity with financial information systems

Defense/Aerospace industry experience

Organized and attentive to detail

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated ability to influence objectives of a project or organization.

Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00
