THE WORK

*Please note that work location will be in Washington State.*
In this role, the successful candidate will manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. In addition, the role will coordinate and execute tasks to support the operations of a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV). In addition, the role will develop training material, tests, and visual aids and conduct training classes and evaluate effectiveness of training activities. You will have the opportunity to lead critical operational support for advanced ROV systems, directly contributing to mission success and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
• Manage ROV hardware (electrical and mechanical) and associated computer systems.
• Support compliance with government regulations for the protection of classified information.
• Maintain and upgrade courses to reflect system configuration and latest technologies.
• Identify development needs in trainees, including preparing personnel for positions of increased responsibility.
• Evaluate and/or oversee other instructors to develop and/or provide training material for co contractors or suppliers.
• Support security administrator for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material.
• Support all contractual security requirements for Sensitive Compartmented Information or DOD collateral classified programs.
• Develop skills needed to operate and maintain equipment associated with the ROV.
• Perform a variety of maintenance and technical support of logistic products at local and field locations.
• Develop products including inventories, reports, assisting with procedural updates, technical writing.
• Maintain effective customer communication and relations, and any additional support to the West Coast Manager.
• Comply with documentation related to the operation of Lockheed Martin and supplier developed systems, analyze system capabilities, and provide feedback.
• Characterize and troubleshoot issues identified by end users.
• Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications and feed applicable data to management.

Basic Qualifications

  • TS/SCI Clearance - Eligible
  • Electrical / Mechanical / Fiber Technician Experience
  • Working in a Team Environment
  • Solving problems with minimal oversight

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
