Standard Job Description

Drives the producibility and quality of products and processes across engineering disciplines including industrial, manufacturing, process, test, and tool. Takes a data-driven approach, turning shop-floor and program data into actionable reports and insights for the site.

You'll analyze industrial engineering data (cycle times, throughput, yield, scrap, labor, capacity) and translate it into metrics, dashboards, and recommendations that drive cost-effective decisions across Camden's manufacturing programs, partnering with program owners to embed insights into daily decisions and surface risks early.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Analytics; and/or related experience in a defense or manufacturing environment.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience (including internships, co-ops, or academic projects) in manufacturing, data engineering, or process improvement.
  • Proficiency in data analysis (SQL, Python) and visualization (Power BI, Tableau, or Grafana), demonstrated through work or academic projects.
  • Exposure to Lean Six Sigma principles.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with R or other statistical languages.
  • Familiarity building internal tools or automations that deliver analysis directly to end users, including AI/ML where it adds value.
  • Ability to translate technical results into clear business recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), including Excel tools such as macros, PivotTables, and lookup functions (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
  • Detail oriented, self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and eager to learn in fast paced environments.
  • Interest in or exposure to the LM portfolio of products.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $52400.00 - $97400.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
