The Operations and Maintenance Senior Manager position at the Eastern Range (ER) located on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station will report to the ER Resident Director and will have leadership responsibility for approximately 55 represented and salaried employees. The Operations & Maintenance Senior Manager provides end‑to‑end leadership for the Eastern Range and Titusville Warehouse & Eastern Range Maintenance Operations teams, ensuring safe, on‑schedule material flow and vehicle/equipment readiness that directly supports Eastern Range FBM mission success.  The role integrates logistics, maintenance, and customer‑interface functions while maintaining accountability for Government‑Furnished Materials (GFM) in strict accordance with federal regulations and procedures.

This Senior Manager is responsible for the Eastern Range and Titusville Warehouse Operations which include material products and services including receiving, shipping, and stockroom functions. The Senior Manager also leads the Equipment and Vehicle maintenance group responsible for integrating requirements, schedules, and performance of maintenance on vehicles and material handling equipment, preventive and corrective maintenance for support equipment, static weight test, and equipment alterations/refurbishments. Responsibilities include safety, mission success for technical and schedule objectives, leadership, and team building, and developing and maintaining customer interfaces.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field
• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory/lead role (or L‑coded position)
• Demonstrated “Full Spectrum Leadership” – ability to lead people, processes, and performance across technical, safety, and mission‑critical dimensions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including working with, speaking to, and presenting briefings to various levels of employees, management, and customer counterparts.
• You will need to be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance to support this government contract. No clearance is required to apply.

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (FAR/DFARS) and data systems related to property/material management is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and manage organizational budgets and schedules.
• Familiarity with contract deliverables, reporting requirements, and audit processes.
• Prior work on Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) programs and/or Strategic & Missile Defense (SMD) systems.
• Familiarity with LM Space and FBM specific command media.
• Demonstrated ability to recommend sound/effective problem resolutions with clear and concise direction for effective/timely execution of directives.
