As a Project Engineer Sr. for the FBM Weapons System Infrastructure & Capabilities (WSIC) team, you’ll work on a broad range of projects to find innovative solutions to lead team members in solving complex problems as we position the program for sustained success for decades to come. The Milcons and Strategic Projects team is looking for motivated individuals to help activate upcoming Milcon and Special projects supporting the future of the FBM D5 missile development, production, sustainment, and next generation missile programs. Within the role you'll support risk coordination for the WSIC team and drive project execution through acting as a Control Account Manager (CAM) to ensure Earned Value Management practices are applied.

Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.  Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.  Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases.  Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

Basic Qualifications

• Project management AND/OR construction management experience in commercial, industrial, government, military or DoD facilities.

• Experience with Project Management, project engineering, AND/OR systems engineering.

• Experience developing and executing project plans

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (US citizenship required)

Desired Skills

• Experience in the formulation of proposals and bases of estimate (BOE)

• Experienced in CAMship and Earned Value Management (EVM) principles

• Experienced in Risk Management 

• Experience in the execution of engineering projects from start to finish

• Familiarity with the MILCON process.

• Proven and demonstrated leadership, organizational coordination, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with FBM and D5 Missile processing operations

• Experience with leading multi-disciplined Integrated Project Teams (IPTs)

• Self-starter requiring minimal supervision capable of clear communication through multiple levels of senior and executive leadership

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar experience preferred

• Understand of the A&E design process and providing oversite of engineering design packages

• Experience preparing/reviewing the following facility engineering products: Statements of Work, Facility Design Criteria, Specification documents and construction cost estimates

• Experience in briefing and interfacing with senior level management and customers

• Excellent computer utilization skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
