Standard Job Description
Performs routine repairs and maintenance of plant and/or office facilities and equipment, with particular emphasis on maintaining HVAC systems supporting office, manufacturing, and laboratory environments. Performs basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, plumbing on plant facilities using hand and power tools. Monitors and services HVAC equipment (air handlers, chillers, exhaust/makeup air systems, RTUs, controls) to maintain temperature, humidity, and airflow requirements critical to office comfort, manufacturing operations, and lab environments. May be required to troubleshoot equipment or facilities problems and reports them to supervisor. May perform routine inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary. Based primarily in Andover, MA, this position also supports facility needs across additional company sites, including the Chelmsford, MA headquarters, as required.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma/GED with 3+ years of hands-on facility maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of trade school/certification and experience.
Proficiency with hand and power tools and general mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.
Primarily supports Andover, MA site but may frequently support Chelmsford, MA locations as business needs require, and to work on-site full-time, Monday–Friday.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Desired Skills
Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or general maintenance experience.
Experience with maintaining or upkeep of HVAC systems in a manufacturing or laboratory environment (e.g., cleanroom, fume hood exhaust, process cooling, environmental controls).
Experience supporting multiple facilities/sites and prioritizing work orders across locations.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $56600.00 - $105000.00
