You will be the Associate Quality Engineer for the Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of manufactured and procured products within Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Associate Quality Engineer you will be responsible for driving quality excellence across our product lines, ensuring that every component meets rigorous performance and safety standards.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Develop and execute test plans for manufactured and procured components.
Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve non‑conformances.
Support root‑cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Basic Qualifications
-Bachelors degree in a STEM degree with 1+ years of professional experience, no experience required with a STEM related Masters degree or equivalent combined education and experience.
-Ability to work independently and as a team player.
-Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
-This position requires the ability to obtain a secret clearance within a year of starting, therefore all candidates need to be US Citizens
Desired Skills
-Working knowledge of MES systems
-Working knowledge of GD&T, FMEAs, and Root Cause and Corrective Action processes.
-Experience in Six-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods.
-Strong written and oral communication skills.
-Discrete and/or Micro-electronics experience.
-J-STD-001/IPC-A-610 familiarization.
-ASQ CQE.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $65500.00 - $121700.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
