What You Will Be Doing:
You will be the F-35 Material Handler for the F-35 Component/Modifications Warehouse team which is responsible for supporting depot aircraft modifications. This position is located in Cherry Point, NC.
As the F-35 Material Handler you will be responsible for ensuring the right parts, tools, and kits are available to keep aircraft modification projects on schedule.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Receive, inventory, and issue parts, tools, and machine‑tool fixtures; build kits per BOM and monitor stock levels.
- Maintain accurate records of tool issuance, manage surplus/obsolete equipment, and verify part numbers/NSNs.
- Provide customers with kit/parts status, support shelf‑life tracking, ESD identification, and handle kit deliveries.
- Generate weekly status reports and promptly notify the site manager of any significant issues.
- Work independently, demonstrate self‑starting leadership, and communicate effectively with peers, customers, and senior management.

Further Information About This Opportunity:
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have at minimum an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting. Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.
Basic Qualifications
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
- The ideal candidate must have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced fluid environment, must be a self-starter, and must be able to communicate effectively with peers, customers, and senior management on customer order/part status and any major or reoccurring issues.
- Minimum 1 year Warehouse / Customer Service Experience
- Valid State Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have at minimum an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting. Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Skills
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:
- Working knowledge of weapon system support
- Proficient User of MS Excel, Access, and Power Point
- Project/process management
- Experience with FAR 52-245 inventory management practices
- Previous experience working in Aviation Depot
- Inventory control experience
- Shop Floor Control experience
- Familiar w/ MAXIMO/AMS and SAP - Systems Application Program
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $15.38 - $28.56

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
