You will be the Operations Engineer Senior for the Operations Engineering team which is responsible for driving producibility, quality, and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Operations Engineer Senior you will be responsible for applying a broad set of engineering disciplines to enhance product manufacturability and reliability.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product reliability.
- Apply industrial and manufacturing engineering techniques to optimize processes, equipment, and tooling.
- Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives that reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Coordinate with supplier quality and quality‑assurance teams to ensure compliance and high‑quality standards.
- Support test and validation activities to verify product performance and manufacturability.

Who You Are
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (industrial, mechanical, aerospace, or related) and brings several years of experience in failure analysis, manufacturing process improvement, and quality assurance. You are proficient with Lean Six Sigma tools, have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and excel at collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions.

Performs activities involving the producibility and quality of the product, and the processes that directly pertain, encompassing primarily one or more of the following engineering disciplines: failure analysis, industrial, manufacturing, manufacturing equipment, process, product, quality assurance, reliability, supplier quality, Lean Six Sigma, test, and tool.
Basic Qualifications
- Four year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- Basic to complex problem solving methodologies utilizing lean principles and theories.
- Awareness and use of CI applications in the manufacturing field.
- Green Belt Trained and certified and/or Black Belt trained or certified.
- Facilitation of small, mid, to large groups in continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen, problem solving events, and value stream mapping.

- Frequent inter-organizational and limited outside customer contacts.
- Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
- Ability to work cross functionally in a large organization interfacing with Sr. to Executive leadership.
- Ability to utilize Tableau, Minitab, Microsoft office suite including Microsoft Project and Visio.
- Ability to analyze production performance metrics relative to quality, cost, and delivery to determine opportunities for improvement. Utilizing data analytics to help build a continuous improvement road map for the major build area.
- Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, and practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $76700.00 - $142500.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
