The Work
Candidate will serve in a C2BMC Regional Modeling and Simulation supporting role, associated with Agile processes as specified by the program.  Candidate will act as a moderator and facilitator, helping the M&S Scrum teams work more efficiently together, remove obstacles, and afford continuous improvement, empowering the teams to self-organize.
-Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
-Engage product teams on the principles of self-organization, Agile mindset, and continuous improvement
-Partner with Product Owners to properly scope, prioritize, and plan current and future work
-Identify, track, and remove impediments that block team progress

Standard Job Description 

Perform exploratory research and analysis to identify novel and meaningful patterns in data and uses statistical methods to reject or accept proposed hypotheses about relationships or latent predictive factors discovered through their work to provide business value. Uses a combination of tools, technologies, and numerical computing systems (i.e.: GPU processing, distributed computing, highly parallel coding, cloud computing, machine learning, visualization, system modelling and simulation) to achieve results. Areas of expertise should include several of the following: applied statistics, text mining, natural language processing, deep learning, optimization, and other similar fields. Work on datasets with applied statistics and machine learning algorithms; Use exploratory data analysis techniques to identify meaningful relationships, patterns, or trends from complex data sets and discover opportunities in datasets to support decision-making; Develop predictive models and new algorithms to solve data / business problems; Understand the math and statistics behind the models and interpret, extrapolate, and prescribe from data to deliver actionable recommendations using effective visualizations

Basic Qualifications

-A final secret clearance is required
-Basic understanding of M&S, radar modeling, and scenario development and analytics processes 
-Experience with Jira or other Agile management tools, MS office, Teams.  
-Understanding of the Hardware and software platforms that constitute the M&S high side engineering environment.  
-Experience with development and engineering software packages used in M&S development environments is suggested.

Desired Skills

-Experience working as scrum master as part of the SW Development Scrum team.
-Experience with Agile development tools such as JIRA, or other Agile management tools.
-Experience in decomposing (or assisting in decomposing) Agile features to user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
-Agile Cerification, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Agile Certified Professional (PMI-ACP), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
-Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework environment (SAFe).
-Agile Coaching experience would be a highly desired skill.
-Understanding of Systems Engineering, SW Development and Verification cycles would be beneficial.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $98100.00 - $182100.00
