WHAT WE'RE DOING
Come join the EADGE-T team and be part of an effort to upgrade the program’s technology and bring new capabilities to the UAE customer. The EADGE-T system is an integrated air missile defense, air battle management capability for the UAE integrating existing sensors, weapons as well as new capabilities.
The Tech Refresh will focus on Foundational / Cyber Security Enhancements. Join us and become a part of the team that is actively designing and developing the updated baseline and get the opportunity to work with an international customer!
THE WORK
EADGE-T is seeking a software engineer to join one of the agile development teams. In this role, you will:
- Decompose higher-level requirements from L1/A Spec to L2/B Spec
- Use DOORS Next to track requirements
- Participate in engineering design reviews
- Design/execute trade studies/analysis of alternatives
- Perform requirements verification
- Participate in System Architecture activities
- Use Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like SysML and Cameo

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.
Basic Qualifications
• Systems engineering experience within requirements, verification, and validation
• Experience with requirement decomposition from L1/A Spec to L2/B Spec requirements
• Knowledge or experience with DOORS or another requirements management tool
• Experience preparing for and participating in engineering design reviews (SRR, SDR, etc.)
• Experience designing and executing trade studies/analysis of alternatives
• Ability to travel OCONUS
• Ability to obtain a Secret DoD Security Clearance
Desired Skills
• Experience with Requirements and Verification teams to create, update, maintain, verify and release requirements for large programs
• Experience with System Architecture
• Experience with Lockheed Martin system engineering and requirements processes
• Experience with DOORs Next
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (e.g., SysML, Cameo)
• SAFE AGILE / Atlassian JIRA
• Bachelor Degree in an engineering or related discipline
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
