What We’re Doing
Our team, Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC)- Global team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.
The Work
- Responsible for the development, configuration control, deployment, and testing of Radiant Mercury Configuration (including Rules) with a primary emphasis on Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) integration.
- Ensuring seamless CDS implementation, configuration, and maintenance
- Perform CDS installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Creating and modifying scripts to perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data
- Troubleshooting both test and prototype issues; develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documents; review and provide feedback of system specifications
- Automating scripting to configure and maintain remote hosts
Note:
- Position requires a DoD government security clearance at the Top Secret level prior to start; must be a U.S. Citizen.
- 10% travel to customer sites throughout the U.S.

Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.
Basic Qualifications
- DoD Final TS Security Clearance required
- Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) prior to start.
- Network Management and Monitoring Systems Experience
- Proven network traffic analysis, diagnostic and troubleshooting experience
Desired Skills
- TS with an MDA based SCI is a plus
- Experience on Radiant Mercury
- Candidates with experience planning and supporting the deployment of network infrastructure are highly desired
- Prior C2BMC network experience
- Proven experience with Ansible or other automation tools, Script experience
- Working experience with GitLab/Maven
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
