Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has an opportunity for a Configuration Management Engineer, supporting the RMS EMC2 programs where we specialize in command and control software in order to support our customers’ dynamic needs.
We develop flexible, modular and extensible solutions that grow and change with our customers mission and budget. Our comprehensive system designs provide turnkey solutions. We rapidly deliver cost effective solutions by leveraging COTS hardware solutions, extensive experience with vendor integration, and software reuse.
<b>THE WORK</b>
As a CM/DM Engineering supporting the EMC2 portfolio in RMS MIC2, you will:
• Utilize JIRA to manage files and track changes.
• Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure the software and hardware products are documented.
• Interface with Hardware/Software Leads, Software Engineers, Quality Assurance to achieve program objectives in accordance with program schedule.
• Control software and hardware changes.
• Perform Data Management tasks including formatting and delivering CDRLs
• Facilitate change board meetings including managing agendas and minutes.
• The successful candidate will have an attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to meet mission requirements.

Basic Qualifications
• Strong attention to detail and must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships
• Must be able to work well in a team environment and work well with various levels of management
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Data Management
Desired Skills
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Software and Hardware Configuration Management
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Create Software builds and associated documentation, track variances and generate monthly metrics.
• Control software/hardware changes.
• Interface with Hardware/Software Leads, Software Engineers, Quality Assurance to achieve program objectives in accordance with program schedule.
• Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of SW baselines
• EPDM/PDM experience.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
