THE WORK
Lockheed Martin is looking for an experienced contracts professional to lead the development, implementation, and execution of classified contracts and has the ability to effectively implement negotiation strategies in support of the Undersea Mission Systems (UMS) sub‑market within the MIC2 business unit area. This role will include end to end lifecycle contracts management of classified contracts in a SCIF space onsite.Specifically, this role oversees a portfolio that includes primarily U.S. Government (FAR/DFARS) classified agreements but will also require support for Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) as needed. Success for this position hinges on expert contract negotiation, rigorous compliance implementation, and the ability to partner with cross functional teams to protect program interests and drive business growth to classified programs. Additionally, the ability to analyze and mitigate contract risks as well as develop contingency plans to minimize potential losses is a key requirement for this role.

Standard Job Description
Basic Qualifications
- 12+ years leading contract negotiations, expert knowledge of contract closeout processes and procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Teams Applications (Excel-pivot tables, macros, charts, import/export, PowerPoint-storytelling, data, charts, import/export, Outlook-calendar management)
- Extensive knowledge of FAR/DFARS based contracts as well as effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Active Top-Secret clearance
Desired Skills
- Advanced degree and professional certifications (e.g. CPCM™, CFCM™, CCCM™)
- Significant experience with Executive Proposal Process (EPP), procedures and has strong presentation skills to efficiently brief senior leadership.
- Expert knowledge of U.S. Government based contract regulations (ex: FAR/DFARS)
- Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions and providing governance to the program team in carrying out the terms of the contract.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $100200.00 - $186200.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
