Key Duties & Responsibilities

 

Develop and implement  quality plans, programs, and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. Ensures that performance and  products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with manufacturing and engineering to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team and support and ensure our products meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability and performance

  • You will develop and implement quality plans, and procedures using statistical quality control data, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses
  • Ensures that program documentation and records are compliant with contractual requirements
  • Interacts with  Management organizations for related Quality Assurance (QA) activities
  • Audits Lockheed Martin Quality Management System (QMS) for workmanship, deficiencies, effective corrective actions, and validation of compliance to company’s management system and compliance. Generates and reviews audit reports for completeness and conformity to quality management system requirements.
  • Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems
  • Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
  • Ensures that corrective action measures are effective and meet acceptable reliability standards

Basic Qualifications

  • Degree in computer science, Engineering or diploma in a related field.
  • Experience in QMS (e.g., AS9100)
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, processes and best practices
  • Works well both in a team setting and independently
  • Good communicator with excellent writing and computer skills; must be effective within all organizational levels.
  • Experience in implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to achieve program and/or company objectives.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
