This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage
management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. This position will be periodically working in the tool room and bench stock. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty.
The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines.
The Material Expediter executes the following: locates and moves materials and parts between work areas of plant to
expedite processing of goods, according to pre-determined schedules and priorities, and keeps related records, checking of tools in and out of the tool room, maintaining inventory of aircraft tools, HAZMAT, test equipment as well as consumable and expendable items, managing calibrated assets, ordering and re-orders, VMI management, bench stock management, purchase requests as well as various other related responsibilities. Inventorying kits for accuracy, management of parts and kits via ERP System, working with material planners to resolve discrepancies, HAZMAT management, maintaining inventory and control of controlled access areas, work order management and accountability as well as a variety of additional related tasks and responsibilities.

This position will primarily work in the tool room with occasional warehouse work on a 4/10 shift Monday-Thursday with occasional overtime on Fridays as needed.
Assignments required:
-Receiving parts (SAP & GOLD, TCMAX)
-Warehousing of parts
-Shipping parts as needed
-Receive and issue tooling, HAZMAT, consumables, parts/material 
-Inventory control
-Maintain HAZMAT, calibration schedules, equipment inspection schedules in accordance with AS9100
-Assist with PSA and HAZMAT reconciliation
-Assist with tours as required, to include staging parts and give overview of all functions in storage area during tours
-Work with Logistics Management Analysts to prioritize requirements
-Post work in process transactions in GOLD to capture movement of parts between storage area and repair shops as needed.

Basic Qualifications

Tool room experience, preferably aircraft maintenance or production tool room
TCMAX experience
Inventory management
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of aircraft tools
Team player, able to work well with others
Ability to work overtime as required
Ability to obtain a security clearance

Desired Skills

Active secret security clearance
SAP, GOLD, ELMS experience
Crewchief or aircraft maintenance experience
