Standard Job Description

Supports development of quality plans and procedures in accordance with customer requirements for both make and buy items. Ensures the conformance to company and regulatory standards. Initiates, reviews, analyzes and reports on quality-related data/metrics from production, service, supplier or process improvement activities and analyzes using statistical techniques. Interfaces as needed with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure process requirements are met. Supports the development of disposition and corrective actions for recurring product/process discrepancies for both make and buy items. Reviews completed assembly, process, test, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical quality records to determine data accuracy, acceptability and completeness. Manages the quality records control process to assure adequate accountability and traceability. Develops and maintains governing procedures related to records control. Supports product acceptance and delivery per established process.

Basic Qualifications

Aviation Experience - Prior work in the aviation community; Fixed Wing

aircraft experience preferred.

Security Clearance - Ability to obtain and maintain an appropriate

clearance.

In-depth experience to read engineering drawings, electrical wiring diagrams coupled with strong

aptitude to read and interpret aircraft electrical drawings

Demonstrated experience working with government customers and agencies such as DCMA

Verified experience working on C-130 electrical systems: Communications/Navigations, Guidance

Control, Electronic Warfare, Electro/Environmental

Demonstrated experience with reading and interpreting manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method

of install/modification.

Verified military/commercial aircraft modification experience includes wire harness

installation and check out procedures.

 

Desired Skills

  • Possesses deep technical expertise in C-130 avionics and electrical systems with rigorous quality control, data analysis, and compliance tracking capabilities to ensure mission-ready aircraft modifications.
  • Experience in reviews of completed assembly, process, test, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical quality records to determine data accuracy, acceptability and completeness.
  • Manages the quality records control process to assure adequate accountability and traceability.
  • Experience with developing and maintaining  governing procedures related to records control.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $65200.00 - $121200.00
