Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Computer Engineer, with a focus in Cyber. In this role, penetration test aircraft and aviation support systems for the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Cyber Range (ACR). The candidate will be responsible for performing a wide array of cyber security assessments and testing to evaluate the security posture of embedded aviation platforms, identify vulnerabilities, develop exploits, and recommend mitigations. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of penetration testing or a related cybersecurity role, moderate to advanced programming experience, demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and excellent written and oral communication.
Must be a US Citizen. This position will require that you can qualify for a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering. Computer Security, Information Technology or other related field.
• Ability to perform penetration testing or a adversarial testing of embedded systems.
• Proficiency with programming languages for multiple domains including shell scripting, high-level languages, and assembly.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
Desired Skills
• Experience with the real-time embedded systems (avionics systems or similar) Architecture, Operating Systems and Networking Fundamentals.
• Experience with software, hardware, embedded networks, and/or radio frequency analysis/reverse engineering as applied to avionics platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $67000.00 - $124400.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
