Standard Job Description
This position reports to the Financial Transformation and Systems team and is a key role in LM's Business Transformation, Systems Modernization (BTSM) initiative. The Release 2 (R2) Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) Release Management Lead will serve as the focalpoint or lead with the internal customer, Enterprise Operations. Once R2 is successfully delivered, the R2 Release Management Lead will transition to future releases. ~25% travel will be required to meet business needs. The Release Lead role will include, but is not limited to:
• Ensure clear communications between the 1LMX Program and the F&BO customer, including program performance, required cutover inputs, test coordination, training development, etc.
• Partner with customer to raise issues, concerns, and risks
• Advocate for the customer in 1LMX internal discussions
• Assist in translating between customer terminology and 1LMX/future state terminology
• Provide connections across Design/Build and Test/Implement resources to ensure full system functionality is understood by customers
• Provide opportunities for customer to support build activities
• Brief customers on upcoming activities, key decisions, and other items that impact their F&BO teams
• Collaborate with other Leads to capture best practices, lessons learned, and documentation
Applies functional knowledge to the design and customization of SAP or PeopleSoft client/server application to meet the company's requirements and systems needs. Understands content, processes, and procedures associated with implementing enterprise applications. Writes functional requirements, develops test plans, and works with production issues. Works with developers to ensure requirements are being met. At higher levels, serves as subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with implementing enterprise applications.
Basic Qualifications
• Broad experience supporting multiple financial disciplines spanning multiple business areas including FP&A, Product Costing, and Program Finance
• Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Forward thinker, growth mindset, change agent
• Ability to multi-task in a collaborative, deadline driven environment
• Ability to execute assigned responsibilities without appreciable direction
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Desired Skills
• Understanding of the 1LMX solution across multiple value streams and the 1LMX build/cutover process
• Experience with Enterprise Operations
• Experience working across technical and functional teams to achieve business goals
• Abilty to drive stakeholder engagement and support
• Experience working large change and/or finance transformation assignments
• Preferred to be near a Lockheed Martin site/office
Pay Information
GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $161300.00 - $299500.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $145100.00 - $269500.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $129000.00 - $239600.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
