What You Will Be Doing
Services, repairs, and overhauls F-35 aircraft electrical systems to ensure airworthiness. Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft electrical systems. Incorporate engineering changes.
Replaces and repairs worn or damaged components. Adjusts, repairs, and replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories.
- Work typically requires a detailed understanding of the interrelationships of circuits. Perform such tasks as making circuit analyzes, and tracing relationships in signal flow. Use complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices, may provide technical guidance.
- Participates in the maintenance and logistics scheduling and execution. Develops solutions to complex problems concerning support to assigned site. This requisition supports the aircraft modification and heavy maintenance program supporting F-35 program requirements.
- Selected candidate will have experience with understanding technical requirements on fighter type aircraft. Candidate must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes.
- Identify aircraft locations by station, butt-line, and waterline as shown on engineering documentation and technical orders.

Further Information About This Opportunity:
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must posses a Interim Secret Clearance to start with the ability to obtain a Final Secret Clearance. Candidate must be willing and able to travel as this position requires Conus and Oconus travel. Candidate must also a current US Passport
Physical Requirements:
This may include certain military required health screenings and immunizations. This position regularly requires to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist. Confined Space Entry. Position may also require extended work hours.
Basic Qualifications
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
- 3- 5 years of fighter aircraft experience; 5th Gen aircraft is a plus
- Must have been previously awarded a 5 or 7 Skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or Marine MOS discipline rating or an equivalent Airframe and Power Plant, FAA certificate.
- Candidate must be willing and able to travel as this position requires Conus and Oconus travel
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a US gov passport.
- Candidate must be able to obtain a final secret security clearance.
Desired Skills
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:
- Working level of knowledge on Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions, Aircraft Forms Documentation, and Supply Chain Management.
- Knowledgeable of Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.
- F-35 Avionics/Electrical experience
- Low Observable Coatings application
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $30.00 - $55.77

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
