We are looking for a dedicated Space Vehicle Systems Engineer to join the TTW team. This role serves as a technical advocate for the space vehicle as it moves through its lifecycle, from requirements definition through mission operations. You will work within an engineering team to assure that the space vehicle achieves mission success while balancing technical performance, cost, schedule, and risk.
In this role you will:
- Work with the Space Vehicle Systems Engineering team to verify that the technical design meets customer mission requirements
- Summarize technical issues concisely in order to present proposed solutions and execution plans to internal and external customers
- Participate in failure analyses to identify root cause and necessary corrective actions
- Travel occasionally, as needed, to provide subcontractor oversight and technical expertise during launch campaigns

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in electrical systems design, integration, and/or test in one or more of the following:
- Channelization for Electrical Systems
- Electrical and/or HW/SW Interface Compatibility Analysis
- Power Budgeting and Battery Depth of Discharge Analysis
- Grounding scheme planning and development
- Performing electrical system trade studies and/or system modeling
- Developing electrical system requirements and Interface Control Documents (ICD)
- Performing electrical system verification testing
- Experience integrating large/complex systems with the ability to troubleshoot at the signal/circuit level
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance, thus US citizenship is required
Desired Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely-related discipline (Master’s degree preferred)
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and debugging spaceflight-quality hardware
- Experience using electrical circuit analysis modelling tools (PSpice, LTSpice, OrCAD, Zuken)
- Experience using Python and/or MATLAB
- Active Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance
- Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $131100.00 - $243500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
