Lockheed Martin is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Test Technician to support engineering and production testing activities in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. This hands-on position performs testing, troubleshooting, calibration, adjustment, and maintenance of electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and related equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support engineering and production testing activities in laboratory, fabrication, and test environments
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, and systems
- Perform electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and related testing activities
- Read and work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal technical instructions
- Operate specialized test equipment and conduct tests using prescribed procedures
- Record and report test data in required formats and maintain applicable logs
- Perform calibration and alignment checks and make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed
- Monitor process controls and support quality verification activities
- Identify discrepancies and communicate findings to engineers and other team members
- Support equipment reliability and process improvement activities
- Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions as required for assigned work
Work Environment
- 9x80 work schedule with every other Friday off
- Work may include laboratory, fabrication, production, and test operations
- May require overtime, alternate shifts, or occasional travel based on business needs
- Works with engineering, production, and other cross-functional personnel
- Supports programs in the defense and space sectors
The technician works with electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical equipment and systems. The role requires the ability to interpret technical information, operate related equipment, conduct tests, document results, and perform calibration and alignment checks.
This position is focused on engineering and testing activities and excludes technician roles primarily working in production or quality assurance.
Basic Qualifications
To be considered, candidates must meet all requirements listed:
- Experience with component-level testing, circuit card assembly (CCA) testing, antenna testing, and RF Testing.
- Familiarity with electronic or electromechanical testing using equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters (DVOM), RF Test equipments and environmental or thermal test chambers
- Ability to read and follow schematics, engineering drawings, and technical instructions
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, and document results in a technical or laboratory environment
- Ability and willingness to work extended shifts, alternate shifts, overtime, and occasional travel as needed
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills
Nice-to-have skills that strengthen candidacy but are not required:
- Experience with vibration, acceleration, or mass properties testing
- Familiarity with VE-CAMS and SAP
- Avionics experience
- Active Secret security clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $67900.00 - $126100.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
