Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Full-Time, Entry Level Electrical Engineering Engineering Aide in Littleton, CO. In this role you will be a key technical member supporting the design, development, test, and manufacturer of testbed, models and simulation for spacecraft, missiles, and ground support hardware.
The following are examples of duties that may be included:
- Responsible for the laboratory hardware and software to ensure security and log maintenance
- Generating engineering documentation, reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, schedules, and schematics
- Reviewing technical documents to identify and resolve discrepancies, perform requirements analysis, coordinate technical exchange meetings, and develop presentation material
- Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.
The successful Candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Electrical/Electronics Engineering Concepts and be willing to work Full-time on-site; Hours can/will vary slightly based upon lab testing requirements.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
Basic Qualifications
- Associates degree in an Engineering related field or currently pursuing an Engineering degree with the abiltiy to work full-time.
- Knowledge of electrical fabrication, assembly and/or test tools and processes
- Basic understanding of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) principles as well as the ability to interpret, generate, and present technical material and problem solve.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Project, Word and Excel applications
- Physically able to lift 30 lbs of equipment
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills
- Demonstrated technical experience in the form of professional experience, internships, and/or other technical training (i.e. senior projects, industry sponsored projects, military experience, etc.)
- Proficiencies with mechanical type fabrication of ground support racks, chassis fabrication, routing cables or wires, installing equipment into rack, and CCA board fabrication.
- Experience in using common electrical/fabrication tools.
- Pass solder certification and crimp connector assembly classes.
- Proficient working with test and measurement equipment (i.e., multi-meters, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, or torque wrenches).
- Hands on experience soldering.
- Hardware integration and handling skills.
- Ability to utilize user manuals to operate and adjust hardware.
- Ability to read, understand and work to electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams and drawings.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proactive and strong work ethic.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $47100.00 - $87500.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
