Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

The Cost Account Manager (CAM) and IPT Deputy will jointly lead the effort for the Sustainment team. The CAM will manage all contract‑related activities, including acquisition strategy, supplier performance, and compliance with defense contracting regulations while taking on some limited technical tasks as an IPT deputy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create, track, and oversee the implementation of the Sustainment Group’s Basis of Estimates(BOEs) to the US Navy.
• Monitor supplier performance through Earned Value Management (EVM) and Supplier Performance Reviews.
• Assist with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS); track critical path, manage risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Perform trade studies, sizing, and present findings to leadership.
• Facilitate reviews and ensure action items are closed.
• Draft, issue, and manage Solicitations/Requests for Proposals (RFPs); evaluate proposals and negotiate award decisions.
• Ensure contract terms comply Lockheed Martin policies; oversee contract modifications and close‑outs.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Compliance to resolve contractual issues, claims, and audits.
Basic Qualifications
• Experience with Earned Value Management
• Expereience working with schedules, trade studies, and/or RFPs and their associated tools
• Leading small teams
• Working across IPTs
Desired Skills
• CAM Certification and prior CAM experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and acting as the primary point‑of‑contact for government and supplier stakeholders.
• Prior exposure to government customers and ability to cultivate positive relationships.
Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
