This role will offer you the following daily challenges:


This position holds procurement management and delegation responsibility for all applicable supplier agreements and contracts within the established authority.

You will perform subcontract administrator duties in support of the program, including:

• Ensure all artifacts necessary to build a compliant procurement document are present and adequate
• Engage with Subcontracts Manager Peer Reviewer to ensure compliant packages are presented
• Engage with Subcontracts Manage Compliance for process compliance
• Help develop subcontract specifications, statements of work and scope.
• Research and evaluate procurement sources and qualification
• Manage Compliant Placement of Purchase Orders



This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in either: Titusville, FL , or Denver, CO , and be expected to work in the office.

Basic Qualifications

To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience/combined education,
  • 1+ years of professional experience,
  • Proficient computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Desired Skills

To be effective, ideally, you should also have:

  • Experience with supply chain management or buying or procurement or related field
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP)
  • Previous LM subcontracts/supply chain experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e… Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, proposal, and/or Category Management)
  • Previous professional experience with the procurement and management of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure
  • Self Motived with a demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership, and accountability for tasks/assignment
  • Possess effective relationship building skills with peers, leadership and suppliers
  • You bring positivity and enthusiasm to every project you touch. In addition to the work, you love being part of a team and working collaboratively through the process.
  • Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $67400.00 - $125200.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
