Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment team as an F-22 Aircraft Maintenance Manager for our Edwards Air Force Base flight test site. This position will provide direction to the F-22 Combined Test Force on SECOND SHIFT (approx. 1430-2300).
Additional responsibilities include:
• Specifically this includes technical direction and oversight of daily flight line operations; interaction with Ops personnel, Ops schedulers, Ground Ops, Air Vehicle Systems and Material Review Board Engineers, Quality Engineering, Air Vehicle Managers and Air Force Production Superintendent(s) and organization leadership.
• Coordinates and integrates efforts of the "purple" (Air Force, Lockheed, Boeing, Government Civilians and Government Contractors) team as well as Admin tasks such as performance appraisals, timekeeping, staffing & disciplinary actions for both salaried and hourly personnel
• Scope of responsibilities includes detailed planning, requirements management, risk management, and flight test maintenance operations management. Oversees and directs maintenance activities associated with the management of flight test operations.
A level 5 employee Typically has 14 - 20 years of professional experience.
**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a Final Secret Security Clearance. **

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of proven maintenance leadership experience/Maintenance Control/ Production Supervisor
- Position requires extensive (at least 15 years) professional experience in managing flight test or high tempo operational maintenance and logistics environment
- 5th Generation Fighter Aircraft Maintenance Experience
- Experienced with managing extensive aircraft modifications: Planning, Scheduling, Execution and closeout—to include Hardware and Software modifications and checkouts
- Experience in areas of creating and executing project, cost, schedule and risk management
- Experience with flight test operations
Desired Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
- F-22 production supervisor, flight chief or expeditor background and advanced interpersonal and communication skills to be effective in a high tempo flight test environment.
- Strong ability to lead, coach develop and hold frontline leaders and technicians accountable while building ownership and a high performing maintenace culture.
- Demonstrated ability to identify systemic maintenance issue, conduct effective root cause analysis, implement sustainable corrective actions, and use performance data to drive measurable improvement.
- Ability to effectively communicate with Customers, team partner companies, and local base authorities critical for success.
- Prior United States Air Force or civilian equivalent operational maintenance & logistics experience highly desirable; specifically, organizational, and intermediate maintenance
- Experience with Earned Value Management a plus.
- Experience creating and maintaining schedules within Microsoft Project a plus
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
