We implement modernization capabilities across an expansive suite of mission planning software and hardware and provide direct sustainment support to our Air Force customer.

As an F-22 Strategic Mission Planner, you will integrate, configure, administer and operate the F-22 Mission Support System (MSS) mission planning suite for day-to-day operations of both fielded and future product releases. You will:

  • Work directly with the F-22 Test Director, Pilots, Weapons School Cadre, Flight Test Managers, Flight Test Engineers and Analysts.
  • Provide support, assistance, and guidance to F-22 pilots in establishing and maintaining F-22 mission data sensor scenarios for Weapons School or Operational Test execution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve anomalies in beta versions of software across the F-22 mission planning hardware and software product suite.
  • Develop mission planning processes & procedures to assist F-22 integration labs, flight test organizations, and operational F-22 squadrons.

Some travel will be required to support Nellis flying operations. This is a world-wide deployable position as this position may also be required to backfill mission planners at operational F-22 squadrons. You may be required to work non-standard hours, nights or weekends in support of flying operations but with smart, flexible scheduling you’ll maintain a great quality of life.

This position requires CompTIA Security+ certification within six months upon hiring. The certification must remain current through continuing education.

You must be a US Citizen, have a current Top Secret clearance, and be eligible for special program access.

Basic Qualifications

  • Mission planning experience with aircraft or weapon systems OR military aircrew (pilot, navigator or electronic warfare) experience
  • Current Top Secret clearance is required

Desired Skills

  • Minimum 8 years of mission planning experience OR 8 years military aircrew (pilot, navigator or electronic warfare) experience
  • Operational Test & Evaluation experience
  • Experience with design or test of 4th or 5th generation avionics/sensors
  • Experience with Linux, UNIX, or Solaris operating systems
  • Experience with configuring computer hardware/software systems
  • Security + certification

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
