Standard Job Description
You will be the Facilities Engineer Sr. (Level 3) for the Facilities Engineering Team. Plans, designs and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, labs, offices and other facilities. Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
What You Will Be Doing
- As the Facilities Engineer Sr. (Level 3) you will be responsible for driving the design and implementation of facility solutions that support manufacturing and operational excellence.
- Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and recommend long‑range space plans to meet future needs
- Create detailed layouts using CAD (Auto‑CAD) based on customer requirements
- Coordinate with Production Operations and Industrial Engineering for process‑flow layouts and clearances
- Field‑verify drawings and manage as‑built releases with architecture/engineering firms
- Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and quality requirements

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Basic qualifications (BQs) are the minimum requirements for a candidate to be considered for a position, 3 to 5 BQs are most effective.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
• Extensive experience using Auto CAD
• Project development and layout experience in facility/manufacturing construction/renovation type projects. • Diversity of project experience including small and large projects.
• Ability to read and execute architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in MS Office software programs including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
• Basic understanding of laboratory, factory/manufacturing/assembly, and office space requirements.
Desired skills are additional skills that are nice to have and help narrow down a qualified candidate pool.
Desired Skills
• Knowledge of all applicable codes and regulations, including OSHA, ADA, state and municipal codes and regulations.
• Execute projects to meet or exceed customer need dates.
• Understanding equipment commissioning.
• Experience in Building Automation and Controls. Able to write sequences of operation for implementation by consultants/contractors.
• Industrial Engineering or Architectural degree preferred.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
