What You Will Be Doing:
You will be the Tool Room Attendant- Level 3 for the Tool Room Operations Team which is responsible for managing and distributing tools, supplies, and hazardous materials to support continuous production. As the Tool Room Attendant- Level 3 you will be responsible for ensuring that all tooling, consumables, and HAZMAT items are accurately tracked, safely stored, and readily available for the workforce. This position is located in Fort Smith, AR.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Receive, identify, stock, and distribute fixed‑asset tools, shop supplies, and electronic testing equipment while maintaining precise inventory records.

- Monitor the tool room area to confirm equipment is safe, operational, and configured correctly for use.

- Coordinate with the Property Custodian to update equipment status, location, and calibration or maintenance schedules.

- Manage HAZMAT storage and issue procedures in compliance with applicable regulations.

- Provide front‑line service at the counter, issuing and collecting tools at shift start and end.

- Comply with good housekeeping other duties as required to accomplish your duties.

Further Information About This Opportunity:
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an Interim Secret clearance to start and must obtain a Final Secret Clearance. Candidate must have the ability to work extended hours and weekends contingent upon business needs

 

Basic Qualifications

The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:


- Basic computer skills, such as ability to use email or the use of Microsoft Excel.

- Experience with tool maintenance and inspection.

- Also requires familiarity with tools, gages, and supplies and have a basic knowledge of storekeeping methods and
inventory procedures.

- Experience with Tool Crib/Tool Room Attendant.

- Experience with Material Handling.

- Experience with Inventory Control.

- Organized, Detail oriented.

- Basic Excel knowledge.

- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.

- Experience with tool control management.

- Experience with tool lifecycles.

- Organization skills for large database systems.

- Experience with property management.

- Ability to properly identify, store, track, maintain, and issue tools.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $18.46 - $34.33

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
