Standard Job Description
The F-16 Chief Engineer will provide Technical Leadership and ensure Technical Integrity for the entire F-16 Enterprise. This position will ensure that all safety, airworthiness and operational suitability requirements are established, satisfied, and verified. Additionally, the F-16 CE (or delegate) will conduct technical reviews in support of key program milestones including technical reviews and configuration upgrades. The F-16 CE will ensure the program follows established command media, including necessary independent technical reviews and work openly and collaboratively with peers, including Line of Business Engineering (LoBE) and subordinates to align resources and adapt with agility to deliver customer value and meet commitments with cost and schedule as a consideration.
Key responsibilities include directing a staff of F-16 Chief Engineer employees to ensure the F-16 meets customer, technical integrity, safety and airworthiness commitments and will hold the responsibility for approval of the engineering configuration baseline, acceptance and approval of engineering investigations and hold approval authority from the CE office for all matters of technical integrity, airworthiness / suitability, safety and verification of customer requirements.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher with industry experience
• Previous manned aircraft technical leadership experience
• Previous Management Experience
• Technical leadership experience in a complex development program with international customers
Desired Skills
• Previous Fighter Aircraft experience
• Previous F-16 experience
• Previous Chief Engineer experience
• Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering discipline with 18+ years industry experience
• Advanced Engineering Degree
• Experience with configuration management and control
• Experience with determination of compliance to contractual requirements
• Experience with technical integrity and system safety / hazard risk analysis
• Experience with airworthiness determination
• Knowledge of F-16 configurations, customers and contracts
• Strong interpersonal skills and working with multiple levels of customers
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $180000.00 - $325000.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
