Standard Job Description

Maintains, installs, and overhauls refrigerated air conditioning and mechanical refrigeration systems and alters existing installations as required.

Basic Qualifications

  • EPA 608 Certification Type Universal
  • 3 Years experience in the HVAC/Refridgeration trade, working on commercial equipment including but not limited to: chilled water systems, Direct Expansion (DX) systems, unitary systems, refrigeration systems, and HVAC controls
  • Experience with electrical shop theory, practice and procedures
  • Experience with troubleshooting electrical controls, refrigeration circuits, and mechanical pumps

Desired Skills

  • Experience designing and installing complex HVAC/R systems in an industrial environment
  • HVAC/R contractor license or technician certification
  • Completed an HVAC/R trade school program

Pay Information 

  • $33.27 - $52.44
