Standard Job Description

Performs multiple financial activities within a product portfolio at The Skunk Works. Performs various financial analyses, risk and opportunity financial assessments, profit and loss modeling and analyses, and consolidates the data forensics into actionable business solution recommendations. Supports a robust financial business rhythm, reporting to multiple internal and external stakeholders. Develops and utilizes forward-looking data analytics, visualization and trend analysis to inform financial strategy and decision making. Provides actionable recommendations to make sound financial and operating decisions. Maintains applicable internal and external (FAR, CAS, SEC, US GAAP) policy, procedure, and controls for compliance to support internal process and external regulatory requirements. Provides subject matter expertise support to proposal development, basis of estimate and negotiations, as required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field or 4 years experience in the absence of a Bachelors Degree
  • 1 year of professional experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas)
  • Experience using analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate clear reports.
  • Effective written and verbal communication experience for presenting findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with advanced data‑analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or SQL) for financial reporting and modeling.
  • Exposure to cost‑accounting, variance analysis, and month‑end close processes in a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to support cross‑functional projects and provide actionable financial insights to senior management.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
