Standard Job Description
As a Mechanical Engineer Sr for Flight Test Instrumentation, you will research, design, & release engineering drawings; provide liaison support to the manufacturing group, flight line, and test sites; and coordinate with internal & external stakeholders to understand and implement engineering requirements. The successful candidate will have experience in and/or knowledge of CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, Inventor, etc), reading and producing engineering drawings, F-35 flight test aircraft modifications, electro/mechanical systems, and transducer and equipment installations.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical
Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or
related discipline. - Experience with CAD software (CATIA V4/V5,
SolidWorks, NX, Inventor, or similar) - Expereince with PDM and VAS.
- Familiar with reading and drafting
engineering drawings to include mechanical, electrical, and harness installations. - Knowledge of electro/mechanical
systems.
Desired Skills
- Experience with mechanical and harness design.
- Experience with sensor technology utilized in
aircraft flight test (accelerometers, strain
gauges, pressure transducers, temperature
sensors, etc.) and installation design. - Exerperience with F-35 test site aircraft modifications, flight
operations, and flight test design principles. - Excellent written and verbal communication
skills. - Ability to work in a collaborative and team based environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
