Are you ready to take on a leadership role in F-35 Production Operations? As a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Supervisor, supporting the Forward Fuselage build area, you will play a crucial role in overseeing production teams responsible for assembling the world’s most advanced fighter aircraft.
Though this position is listed for a specific shift, the selected candidate must be willing to work any shift, including potential shift rotations, weekend schedules, and required overtime to support production needs.
What You Will Be Doing
• Supervise and direct a team of production employees, assigning tasks and ensuring proper execution.
• Drive build plans and implement changes to improve quality, schedule adherence, and cost performance.
• Foster a culture of First Time Right (FTR) and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention.
• Ensure that employees maintain required certifications for specialized tasks.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment, addressing any unsafe conditions promptly.
• Enforce compliance with Core processes and program-specific procedures.
• Proactively identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and technical competencies.
• Collaborate with Labor Relations and Human Resources to address skill gaps, training needs, and employee engagement.
Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Manages more than one functional area of manufacturing, such as machining, assembly, tool and die, packaging. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Basic Qualifications
• Experience leading teams in dynamic production/manufacturing environments, or related fields.
• Experience with Aircraft maintenance or Aerospace manufacturing/productions methodologies in a professional environment, or relevant experience.
• Ability to work any shift as required, including weekend rotations and overtime.
• Experience using tools, &/or systems typically used in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Experience business metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule, &/or quality)
• MS Office proficiency, mainly with Teams, Outlook, and Excel
Desired Skills
• F-35 production experience or familiarity with aircraft assembly processes.
• Experience managing in a union environment, working with Labor Relations and HR teams.
• Knowledge of Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention and First Time Right (FTR) principles.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills to support employee development and engagement.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
