Job Title:  Program Management Stf - E4
Posting Start Date:  10/7/26

Standard Job Description

The Mods & Upgrades On-Ramp team is seeking a Level 4 Program Manager to support the Structure Life Limit Parts portfolio. SLLP focuses on modifications tied to structural life-limit requirements and supports long-term fleet readiness, service life objectives, and aircraft availability.

SLLP is the highest-volume proposal area within the Mods & Upgrades portfolio, requiring strong program management discipline, cross-functional coordination, and clear pipeline visibility. The selected candidate will help manage SLLP ECPs through the lifecycle from CR through contract award, balancing customer priorities, internal capacity, proposal throughput, milestone execution, and risk management.

This role requires a program manager who can manage both the details and the broader programmatic picture — understanding where proposals are in the lifecycle, what is needed to move them forward, what risks may impact milestone achievement, and what decisions or escalations may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage SLLP ECPs through the CR, proposal, negotiation, and contract award lifecycle.
  • Coordinate across Program Management, Engineering, Contracts, Supply Chain, Pricing, Business Management, and customer stakeholders to mature proposal inputs and resolve blockers.
  • Support the SLLP business rhythm by maintaining milestone discipline, action tracking, risk visibility, and leadership-ready status.
  • Help balance customer priorities, resource capacity, proposal throughput, and award timing by identifying risks, deconflicting priorities, and bringing forward recommendations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Program management, project management, proposal management, sustainment, modifications, engineering coordination, or aerospace program experience.
  • Experience coordinating work across multiple stakeholders, functions, or program teams.
  • Experience managing ECPs through the CR, proposal, negotiation, and/or contract award lifecycle.
  • Experience organizationing, follow-through, cross functional communications, and/or problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing high-volume work, competing priorities, milestone movement, and action closure.
  • Experience identifying risks, assess impacts, and bring forward recommendations.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Structure Life Limit Parts, aircraft modifications, sustainment, retrofit, or structural lifecycle work.
  • Familiarity with CR/ECP lifecycle processes, proposal development, BOM/CLIN structure, aircraft effectivity, supplier inputs, pricing dependencies, or contract award milestones.
  • Experience working with Engineering, Contracts, Supply Chain, Pricing, Business Management, or customer teams.
  • Experience supporting CPFF, FFP, cost reimbursable, or other government contract structures.
  • Ability to support portfolio prioritization, proposal throughput, bundling strategy, and award cadence planning.
  • Strong data discipline and ability to maintain accurate milestone, status, risk, and action information.
