The Aeronautics Global Sustainment Modifications, Upgrades, and Overhauls (MUO) 5th Generation Planning, Management, and Integration (PM&I) team is seeking a full-time F-35 Planner & Scheduler. The F-35 Modification Plans & Scheduling Representative plays a crucial role in managing the modification process for their assigned depot and/or field team sites. Their primary responsibility is to develop a Scheduled Work Package (SWP) for every approved Depot Flow Plan (DFP) event, which involves collaborating closely with Mod Program Managers, Supply and Tooling Managers, and the Execution Team to assess the supportability of projected modifications. To ensure seamless coordination, planners maintain direct communication with the Joint Program Office (JPO) and modification sites.
The role encompasses a range of responsibilities that drive modification effectiveness by assessing change implications and assisting the DFP Team in integrating work-around plans into the schedule. Planners lead critical pre-induction coordination, including the official Pre-Dock Meeting, and post-induction, they continuously track progress and adjust the schedule to evaluate impacts on completion timelines. After event completion, the Planning team develops a Post-Dock summary package and conducts a Post-Dock meeting to brief customers on results. This structured workflow ensures all stakeholders remain informed and aligned throughout the modification process, from initial planning through successful execution and closeout.
Basic Qualifications
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, OR holds an equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Experience demonstrating organization skills, workflow prioritization, and cross collaboration
- Must be able to obtain Interim Secret clearance prior to start
Desired Skills
- Demonstrated experience supporting military or commercial aircraft, with a strong background in aviation maintenance and logistics.
- Proven experience with event planning and scheduling methodologies
- Comfortable working in dynamic environments, adept at managing shifting priorities and rapidly adapting work plans.
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams, actively fostering collaboration, aligning objectives, and resolving conflicts to drive unified execution.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop strong working relationships with peers, stakeholders, and customers in order to advance supportability for assigned projects.
- Detail‑oriented, ensuring accurate project documentation and thorough traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00
