Applies quality principles in the areas of: design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products. Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures. Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action. Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. Develops strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity. Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Engages in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs.
This position reports to F-35 Enterprise Sustainment Quality leader and is responsible for integration, coordination, and problem resolution of supplied products that are suspect of intended use. The position will focus on process development, execution and administration; coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to issue, track, receive/document and report official closure of Quality Concern Notifications that include Product Quality Deficiency Reports, Notice of Escapes, and Product Recall Process (material survey) through the life-cycle until issue is contained and resolved. Will utilize various methods to evaluate and initiate actions to identify and control sources detrimental to quality, cost, and schedule targets. Will coordinate root cause, corrective and preventive action investigations/ decisions/ validations, along with area improvement strategy and planning.
Responsible and accountable for delivering effective methods and initiating improvements that will drive and improve overall quality performance reducing quality escapes to the field. Will collaborate with various functions to assure compliance and continuous improvement; this includes integration of core engineering, SQM, SCM, Production Aircraft/Material Survey Group, and R&M.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
Technical report writing
Quality Assurance experience in active flight operations environment.
Experience working with internal and external customers.
Demonstrated ability to develop corrective action plans for product & policy non-conformance.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Experience in presenting to leadership
Desired Skills
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Specific experience with the F-35 aircraft or other 5th generation platform.
Process / procedure development
Communication experience in order to influence control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products
Perform technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
