Join a dynamic team that safeguards aerospace excellence! The Site Lead of the FOD Prevention Program reports directly to the Manager, Mission, Business & Compliance. The FOD Prevention Program Site Lead is responsible for maintaining a consistent/standardized application of company and regulatory compliance with Ground Operations Procedures and FOD Prevention Program requirements while overseeing DCMAI 8210.1 contract obligations for the assigned Site.

Responsibilities include:
• Represent the FOD Prevention Program at Site level activities and events.
• Act as FOD Prevention Program Integrator with Senior Site Leadership, supporting organizations, and Customer.
• Facilitate the FOD Prevention area designation process with the Site FOD Prevention team.

• Distribute FOD Prevention Awareness materials as requested.
• Evaluate monthly FOD, LTI/AI, and Q&MS Surveillance metrics for trends and appropriate corrective/preventative actions.
• Assist Program FOD Prevention Representatives with FOD Incident investigations.
• Review and approve FOD Prevention related Corrective Action Plans.
• Coordinate FOD Prevention information and oversee actions of the Q&MS Site/Program Area FOD Prevention Representatives
• Facilitate FOD Prevention Meetings with Q&MS Site/Program Area FOD Prevention Representatives and Production Operations FOD Prevention Monitors build teams.
• Initiate and submit process improvements through coordinated efforts with Site Programs, Leadership, Customer, and FOD Prevention Program Management.
• Assist with developing the annual FOD Prevention Plan for LM Aero.
• Monitor and evaluate Corrective Action implementation/sustainment on FOD Prevention and Ground Operations issues.
• Sustain effective FOD Prevention communication/compliance implementation plans.
• Review the FOD Prevention Program at least annually to assure compliance and report results to FOD Program Leadership, Site and Program Leadership and the customer 
• May be appointed as the Single Point of Contact to the Site Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Government Flight Representative (GFR) with cognizance over Ground Operations Procedures for coordinated approval issues.
• Participate and Support all Site-Level activities.
• Facilitate FOD Prevention Policy briefings as requested. Take full ownership of FOD Prevention performance in assigned areas, driving continuous improvement through proactive surveillance, collaboration, and teamwork.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor Degree from an accredited college
- Expertise in DCMA Instruction 8210‑1
- Analytical Skills – Ability to convey complex data concisely and influence decision‑makers.
- Effective communication skills - Written, oral, listening, presentation, and technical writing
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00
