Standard Job Description

As the Reliability Maintainability and Sustainment (RMS) Engineering Project Manager you will be responsible for the execution of the F-22 RMS program covering reliability growth, maintainability enhancements, and sustainability intiatives. You will lead high visibility projects that blend RMS engineering and analysis, ensuring they stay on‑time and cost‑effective — delivering tangible value to the customer.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and lead execution of RMS initiatives spanning multiple product lines throughout each project lifecycle
  • Track progress against milestones, manage overall cost and schedule performance, and present status to both internal and customer leadership
  • Drive data-centric RMS analyses, translate findings into design and process actions, and develop/maintain program metrics
  • Coordinate with cross-functional experts, facilitate regular meetings, status reports, and issue‑resolution sessions to drive execution and mitigate risks and delays
  • Plan and conduct customer reviews and demonstrations related to all aspects of the RMS process
  • Manage supplier technical development and engineering integration activities

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline
  • 9+ years of engineering and/or project management experience on aerospace or defense programs
  • Experience effectively communicating status and challenges to multi-disciplined engineering teams, senior executives, and external customers
  • Willing to travel up to 10%
  • Final SECRET Security Clearance

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with USAF modification program requirements to include documentation, TCTOs, kits, tooling, and special test equipment
  • Demonstrated understanding of F-22 Operational Test (OT) environment and procedures, engineering assistance requests, and inspection requirements
  • Experience with F-22 sustainment systems, processes, and teams
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), Control Account Manager (CAM) tools and processes, and Risk & Opportunity Management
  • Ability to obtain F-22 SAP clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00
