Standard Job Description
Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.

The F-35 Core Processing Software (CPSW) Development Team is looking to expand the support of production software development activities.
The candidate must have the ability to analyze requirements and develop safety critical software from those requirements to ensure the proper behavior of the air vehicle.
The candidate shall have the ability to perform debugging and root cause analysis for software defects indentified during integration test activities.
The candidate must be process oriented and have a great eye for detail as the CPSW software must adhere to the Software Evidence Assurance Level 1 process (SEAL1).
Basic Qualifications
Experience with C++, Python, GitLab
Experience with Software Development Testing and Debugging
Bachelor's degree or above in a STEM discipline from an accredited college/university
Must be a US citizen. Candidates may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

- Familiar with Object oriented design patterns
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Familiar with Linux Operating Systems

- A desire to work with embedded systems and hardware\firmware
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81100.00 - $150500.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
