Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs. Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams. Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with supply chain management, buying, or procurement, or related field.
  • Experience with Fedear Acquisition Regualtions (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulations (DFARs).
  • Demonstrated Working knowledge of Systems, Applications, and Processes (SAP).
  • Experience with leading a team, either formally or informally.
  • Experience with written and verbal communications.
  • Capable of identifying and mitigating risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Success in working in multi-functional organisations.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with competitive and non-competitive procurements.
  • Familiarity with PO Folders.
  • Background with and understanding of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP) for all subcontract types, special focus on Cost-Plus and Firm Fixed contracts.
  • Negotiations experience in a Truth in Negotiations (TINA) environment.
  • Interaction with senior management, suppliers and other external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between functional organizations.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience.
  • Able to achieve delivery to tight schedules in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple suppliers to meet cost, schedule and technical performance requirements of highly complex subcontracts.
  • Experience with communicating to all levels of leadership.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $109700.00 - $203700.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
