You will be the Aeronautical Engineer Asc Mgr - L4 for the F-35 Wing Subsystems Design and Installation which is responsible for delivering advanced aerodynamic solutions for the F-35 program.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Aeronautical Engineer Asc Mgr - L4 you will be responsible for leading both managerial and technical efforts within the F-35 Wing Subsystems Design and Installation team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Mentor and develop engineering team members, fostering career growth and performance excellence.
- Oversee performance assessments, compensation, awards, and recognition programs.
- Manage administrative duties and training activities to ensure team readiness.
- Lead technical execution on F-35 design projects, collaborating closely with the Design Team Manager.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive technical solutions.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications
• Team Lead Experience.
• Experience in subsystsem design and installation (Airframe Layout, Detail Part and Assembly, Harness Design, Tube Design).
• Experience with 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools such as CATIA, NX, Solidworks, Pro Engineer, Creo, Unigraphics, 3DX, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s or above Degree from an accredited college in a related engineering discipline.
• Must be a US Citizen with active secret security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills
• Management Experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working F-35 or similar programs, development through sustainment.
• Experience interacting with customers and senior management.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
