Who You Are

As a Global Supply Chain Contracts Senior, you are an experienced professional with a legal, contracts or supply chain management background. 
You have a comprehensive understanding of the FAR and DFARS and experience negotiating contract terms and conditions.  You are very comfortable
working without appreciable direction and are skilled at providing specialized guidance on contract terms and conditions, regulations, and other contract matters. 

What You Will Be Doing

In this highly visible and fast paced role, the selected candidate will be responsible for advocating for the best interests of the company in contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, mitigating risk, and partnering with others to obtain positive business results. 

In this role you will: 

1) Manage, review, approve, negotiate, and provide guidance on subcontract terms and conditions for commercial, construction, DOD and international programs, including but not limited to FAR/DFARS requirements, Corporate Documents, End User License Agreements, standard text keys, bailment agreements, economic price adjustment clauses, and model contracts for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types. 

2) Interpret and understand regulations and contract language to ensure compliance, resolve conflicts, and address policy and procedure issues.

3) Support the mitigation of risks, losses, and opportunities related to contract terms and conditions.

4) Assist and advise subcontract management teams on terms and conditions and occasional subcontract administration issues.   

5) Interface internally and externally with Global Supply Chain, Legal, Contracts, Price/Cost Analysis another functional areas at all levels of the organization

Basic Qualifications

1) U.S. Citizen

 

2) Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

 

3) Experience working with the FAR/DFARS or experience in a highly regulated industry

 

4) Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills

1)  Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution or at least (5) years experience as a procurement specialist 

 

2)  Experience working in the aerospace, defense or other highly regulated industry

 

3) Experience negotiating contracts and interpreting/advising other on contract language

Pay Information

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role. 

  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $90600.00 - $168200.00 
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $81500.00 - $151300.00 
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $72500.00 - $134600.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $65200.00 - $121200.00
    • Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Lufkin, TX; etc.

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
