You will be a Level 3 Systems Engineer Sr for F-35 Test Operations and Planning. Our team is responsible for System Integration and Testing for the F-35. This includes creating detailed test plans that include the scope of testing, different testing environments, lab infrastructure, schedules, and resource allocation. That stems from collaboration with software teams, architecture teams, design teams, and system test teams all working together to ensure F-35 modernization, sustainment, and development.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Systems Engineering Sr you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing testing processes and procedures across multiple engineering teams to ensure product quality, performance, and compliance with standards on the F-35 SI&T Team.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Oversee test Execution to ensure LOB priorities and capabilities are being integrated and tested.
• Coordinating with product teams, development teams, and software quality assurance teams to ensure alignment with test objectives.
• Ensure SI&T labs are capable and ready to accept all software builds, hardware deliveries, and modification changes for ongoing testing needs.
• Generating comprehensive test reports, summarizing test execution status, key findings, defects identified, and overall product quality assessment that gets reported to senior leadership.

Further Information About This Opportunity

You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in a STEM field (engineering highly desired).
  • Project Engineering Experience
  • Must be US citizen with ability to obtain Secret Clearance and Program Access 

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Integration and Test
  • Experience in developing and executing technical plans
  • Systems Engineering development and integration experience
  • Experience with requirement development that includes the scope of testing and the different testing environments
  • Experienced working with multiple LM Aero F-35 engineering teams, such as System Design, Software, SWIT, or Integrated System Evaluation
  • F-35 Program Clearances
  • Must have active Secret clearance or higher

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
